Kirk Franklin- we shall overcome
This project represented the liberation of blackness for me. As a Black man that has felt silenced, this creative helped me find my voice again. Juneteenth is a celebration of our growth, as we celebrate our blackness, and the progress to come. I acknowledge this moment in history that has helped shape us and even though there is still work to be done, this day brings a remembrance that change is possible- Michael Amofah (kvvadwo)
